2012 is the bicentennial of the War of 1812. It is important to commemorate the event, especially to those of who live on the shores of the Great Lakes. 200 years of peace along the border is something to celebrate!
1812 Alive! brings historic presentations to schools, community events, festivals and as many other venues as they can find! These reenactors and performers have researched and studied the time period, attended living history conferences and discussed life and times with experts. Their events are developed with education and audience engagement in mind.
